In the community….
June 2026: Our first Grant is supporting the Summer Paramedic for East County covering Hope and Clark Fork. The Grant provides funding for 24/7 coverage out of Sam Owen Station 1 in Hope, central to the East County coverage area. This staffing saves approximately 17 - 20 minutes in response time to each call and in 2024, when first piloted, contributed to at least one cardiac save.

July 2026: Our second Grant will be a scholarship for a local volunteer EMT from Clark Fork Valley Ambulance and a Sam Owen Fire District/Clark Fork Fire Department supporter to attend Paramedic School with the goal of providing a higher level of Emergency Medical Service to our local community.
